UCPN (M) advisor quits party

KATHMANDU, SEP 26 - UCPN (Maoist) Central advisor council member Navaraj Sharma Timilsina has quit the party on Thursday.

Timilsina said he was dissatisfied with the working guidelines adopted by the seventh plenum of the party and the subsequent chaotic environment.

Organising a press conference in the Capital, Timilsina said he would not join any party and that he would work as an independent journalist in the coming days.

Sharma who was the member of the Nepal Communist Party in 2027 B.S became the central member of CP Mainali-led CPN-ML in 2054 B.S.

Later on, Timilsina joined UCPN (M) in 2065 B.S.
